Video Audition Requirements

Include on a separate sheet of paper:

Student Information:

1. Name
2. Address
3. Telephone
4. Age
5. Height and weight
6. Number of years of training
7. Teachers and school (past and current)

Required dance footage:

Student will be clearly identified at the beginning of the tape.

Student will state his/her:

1. Name
2. Age
3. City and state
4. Current ballet school/teacher

Barre work: (only one side for each exercise) to include:

Plies, tendus, degages, fondu, releve, balances, developpe,

rond de jambe – a terre and en l’air, adagio, frappe,

petit battements, grand battement

Center work:

Adagio, pirouettes (en dehors and en dedans), Petit Allegro (such as echappe, jete, assemble, brise, battus, etc.), Grand Allegro with large traveling steps and jumps (such as tour jete, grand jete, waltz, saut de basque, cabrioles, etc.)

Also:

Pointe work for Ladies:

Echappes, pirouettes, releves on one leg, piques, fouettes, etc.

Gentlemen:

Tour en l’air, sissonne, beats, cabriole, big jumps, etc
