Pianist Composer Hayk Arsenyan, born in 1978 in Yerevan,  studied the Piano in Ecole Normal De Paris /Alfred Cortot/ and received his Masters Degree from the Russian Gnessin Music Academy in Moscow. In 2007 Mr. Arsenyan received a full tuition “Yevgeny Kissin” Scholarship for “Performance Studies” at Manhattan School of Music (NY) with Dr. Solomon Mikowsky. Currently, he is working on his Doctoral dissertation towards the Doctor of Musical Arts Degree and is a professor at New York University Tisch School of the Arts (NY).

Mr. Arsenyan is a 1st prize winner of international piano and composition competitions. He has appeared in recitals in Armenia, Russia, France, the USA, Italy, Czech Republic, Argentina and Uruguay. The venues where he performed include “Dame Myra Hess” series in Chicago, Phillips Collection Series in Washington DC, Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall (NY), Palais d’UNESCO (Paris), Tchaikovsky Concert Hall (Moscow), “Petranka” Museum of Mozart (Prague) and Khachaturian Great Hall (Yerevan).

In 1993 he became a member of the French Society of Authors and Composers (SACEM) and two collections of his original works were published in Paris. In 2000 he also became a member of the “Ararat” International Academy of Sciences in Paris.
